Itinerary
Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Leh (Acclimatization Day)
o Arrive at Leh airport (~3,500 m altitude) o Check into hotel and rest completely (very important) o Evening (if feeling okay): Visit Shanti Stupa and Explore Leh Market
Day 2 – Leh Local Sightseeing
o Thiksey Monastery o Hemis Monastery o Shey Palace o Experience: Magnetic Hill and Hall of Fame (army museum) o Confluence of Indus River & Zanskar River o Stay overnight in Leh
Day 3 – Leh → Nubra Valley
o Drive via Khardung La o Reach Nubra Valley (Diskit/Hunder) o Visit: Diskit Monastery (giant Buddha statue) o Hunder Sand Dunes (camel ride on double-humped camels) o Stay in Nubra (camp/hotel)
Day 4 – Nubra → Pangong Lake
o Scenic drive to Pangong (via Shyok route) o Enjoy the iconic blue lake views o Photography & sunset o Stay overnight near Pangong Lake (camp)
Day 5 – Pangong → Leh Departure
